CULTURE:A Conversation with Mystery Skulls
Towards the end of last month we met up with Luis Dubuc of Mystery Skulls before he opened for Robert Delong at The Independent in SF. The now Los Angeles based producer talked with us about his original musical influences, how he started out in the metal scene, how he got involved with 70s dance icon Niles Rodgers, and we even touched a bit on his WWE obsession and favorite childhood cartoon.
Mystery Skulls has been playing various festivals and club shows throughout the last year and recently joined Robert Delong for a sold out club tour. If you haven’t heard his combination of bluesy/funky dance music filled with soulful vocals and crunchy beats, I highly recommend you watching his video forGhost below.
Mystery Skulls will be releasing his debut album sometime in May on Warner Bros Records and will be packed full of crunchy dance hits matched with soulful vocals and you can watch his latest music video for "Ghost" right here
